And another very efficient car, too! I don't remember what car she drives...

Good way to burn off those beer calories! :)

It's a Honda Jazz (Fit) , Bill. Of course , it has a more efficient engine than our Fit.

We're headed for a near-record high temperature today (90F vs 96 record) and then a near record low tomorrow (40F vs 36). Tomorrow's morning commute should be interesting.

    54.8 / 5.2 - home last night
59.7 / 5.1 - straight to work this morning. Wife took the kids to school.

    Tank is up a bit to 54.0 / 379.

Brr, I left the house two mornings ago and it was 59*F. It’s a bit early for summer to break in Texas though! Got to The GA/SC state line this evening, it didn’t even break 80 today and barely did yesterday between Dallas and Mississippi.

Anyhow, I am stoked on a record 51.8mpg tank, my best ever tally in anything except one fluky tank on my old Harley. If summer’s ending, that’s a fantastic way to send it off.

The tank is at 53.9 / 415 miles and now just below 1/2.

Hi Bill and Edwin, we sold the 2010 Honda Jazz (Fit) 1.2 Si earlier this year and she now drives a 2015 Hyundai i10 1.2 SE which we bought off my mother as she didn’t want to drive anymore! It’s another great little car with an efficient yet punchier engine than the Jazz/Fit.

I now remember you saying something about that. My memory isn't what it used to be.
Friday morning I left to go to a wedding in Flint Michigan. I had forgotten how bad the Prius is on the highway.
I aimed for a target speed of 61 MPH , going faster only when fcd said 70-75 MPG ( downhill).
60 deg F, but then had rain for the last hundred miles of 308 miles trip in. When I came home Sunday , it was dry , but down
to 45 deg F. The round trip was only about 54 MPG for 625 miles.

Today , 42 deg f in Naperville , 37 in Addison , and 54 in Toronto. I came here from Lombard, so no highway.
    16.3 miles , 64.1 MPG.

This morning, 2UP, motorway route, proper dark, 45°F, tailwind E4:
    45.2 / 22.7 - too many full stops.

    Tank steady at 45.2 (FCD 47.5) / 302.7 / Range 315 . Guess gauge F___«|««««E . UG down 0.1 at 47.5 / DTE 340

Lost 3rd pip (of 8) at 273 miles
