Hey, don't feel like that! Your numbers are looking quite good! Besides, Wayne makes pretty much any of us look bad. ;) :D

finally got back in the groove of all out hypermiling. I just had to see what the rental Pontiac G6 V6 auto could do, so I went out on my normal "Ideal" route, and got 45.3 mpg on the way out with a slight headwind. I was surprised, but shocked when on the return trip got 61.8 mpg on the exact same route in reverse. ~18-35 mph range P&G in a car that is perfect for it. The only thing that could be better would be the 4 cyl version, but 60 mpg out of a V6 rated for 24 mpg combined was quite surprising.

After that I was so inspired that I decided I needed to get back into the habit of hypermiling the Insight intensely and managed a 105.2 on a hilly 26 mile round trip. But all of this is nothing compared with the improvement that comes from getting my Aunt to trade in her 16 mpg 2002 Dodge Dakota on a 2007 pkg 4 Silver Pine Mica Prius this afternoon. She will easily triple her mileage, if not come close to quadrupling it once my mom imparts her casual hypermiling style to her.

    41.0 @ 66.1 Errands on weekend.
    69.3 @ 59.2 Road trip to folks.
    10.7 @ 58.5 Errands at folks.

Ok... Late hit, but here's an abridged version of my weekend travels.

I'm happy with the 59.2 hwy, but still looking to do better. Need to read Hobbit's site again. The rest were a whole bunch of short trips so the mileage was pretty low, mostly warmup.
