Lamb is definitely growing. Somehow it's limping in one front leg, and I can't see anything wrong. Just watch and wait I guess. 53.2 / 11.5 - school and work this morning With the weekend's driving the tank is down 0.5 to 49.1 / 467 mi. F____|__/__E
Hope the lamb is okay. Car ran fine today despite -19*F (-40* wind chill) this morning, although I didn't do as much EOC as usual. Since I don't know what caused my problem, I was a little paranoid. I did put in some gas line antifreeze last night when it wouldn't start. I wouldn't have thought water would be a problem with ethanol blend fuel, but it has been terribly cold for most of the last couple of months and I never went this long between fillups during the cold months last winter, so maybe. 31.4 - 4 mi. this morning to work. Traffic was bad on top of the cold. 45.6 - 5 mi., 3*F from work to mom's to pick up my wife. Battery was dead in her car today. Not a good way to start the week. 40.4 - 2.1 mi. to the store/ gas station. Decided to go ahead and fill up just in case. 40 - 1 mi. store to home. Tank: 45.23 mpg - 9.52 gal. - 430.9 mi. 95% city, avg. speed 18.6 mph. Considering the weather we've had lately, I'm pleased with that.
Glad it worked this time Puddleglum. Lamb is *maybe* putting a little weight on the leg, but not much. Certainly hopping around more though. 51.5 / 5.3 - home last night 52.1 / 11.5 - school and work this morning Tank is up a tick to 49.2 / 484 mi. F____|__/__E
What a difference between yesterday and today. 51*F rise in 24 hours. It won't last but hopefully the extreme cold is over. 45 - 4 mi., 32*F to work this morning. 56.4 - 4.7 mi., 38*F home this afternoon.
Warmer here, upper 40's. Everything is dripping wet, foggy, damp. Haven't seen the sun in a week and probably won't for a while. 47.3 / 5.3 - home last night 55.1 / 7.3 - out to a parents' meeting at school 43.1 / 3.3 - to a store after 51.8 / 5.0 - home 50.6 / 11.7 - school and work this morning. I know it says "Thou shall not covet", but is it okay to covet thy neighbors weather, LOL. Off topic but, Andrew, with all your farming activities plus raising kids and church involvement, it sounds like you have an incredibly busy life. It's back to below normal winter temps here. 36.5 - 4 mi. to work, -6*F. 12 mph crosswind (-24*F wind chill) 51 - 4.7 mi. home, 8*F. 9 mph headwind.

Are they optimistic that they can correct the nerve issue Gord? Hope you enjoy your weekend away. A bit warmer today and they finally plowed my worst section of road. Highways get plowed right away but residential streets are an entirely different matter. 44.4 - 4 mi. to work. 6*F 57.8 - 4.7 mi. home. 19*F
I had surgery to correct trouble of that sort a couple of years ago; a spacer was installed between C6 and C7 to untrap the nerve. Let's hope your issue is more easily resolved!
Hoping for the best, Gord! Yes, Puddleglum, I am busy! I could really use a rest. No school today, thank you George Washington for having a birthday. 59.6 / 5.2 - straight to work. Tank is at 49.4 / 386 mi. F____|/___E
