    I hear you Edwin. My commutes home have really helped out.

    last night:
    68.4 / 12.9 miles (81F S@5)
    FCD = 60.7 (+0.3)

    this morning to work
    55.1 / 13.0 miles (61F S@6)
    FCD = 60.6 (-0.1)

    tank:
    8.38 gals converted
    487.0 miles
    F_____|__\***E
    Calculated from these numbers it is still just over 58 MPG :( Darn those morning numbers.:mad:

    Still on vacation! Did a 60.7 mile bike ride early this morning, hilly 4028ft elevation, 4hrs 3mins.
    Drove Jazz/Fit to collect in-laws and take them for lunch (father in law has had a cataract operation and can't drive for another 2 weeks):
    52.3 / 13 round trip (4 segments).

    To be honest, I'm going to go back to the drawing board for a lot of it. It seems to take a decent bit of extra time and added a lot less benefit going back towards Dallas.

    However, headed westbound, exit 536 (Tank Farm Road) and use the frontage. It's a nice middle speed stretch with a couple of stop signs, but it's 8 miles of much-better-than-freeway-MPG before it ends and dumps you back on the freeway. Seeking frontage roads might end up being the way I go, it's a shame there aren't more continuous miles of them.

    44.04 for this tank. Better than before, and meaningfully better than was the Echo, but not by as much as I'd hoped. Mostly me, I'm sure, but I also have faulty valve stems and can't raise my tire pressures.

    Congrats on the new C-Max, TFF!

    Saturday morning, 3UP to in-law's to drop off dog, then on to a reservoir to drop youngest off for an activity day, 9mph headwind S, 54°F, drizzling:

    42.3 / 3.3
    51.2 / 18.9

    Then 2UP to Hardwick Hall and Hardwick Old Hall. Took much shorter, very narrow, windy route. Not good for FE but over 3 miles shorter each way:
    38.8 / 5.5

    Back to reservoir 4 hours later, 63°F
    38.1 / 5.3

    Reservoir to in-law's to collect dog, 3UP, 64°F, 10mph tailwind S:
    52.4 / 18.9

    Home, 3UP, 67°F:
    37.2 / 3.3

    Tank up 6.6 at 43.1 (FCD 45.4) / 58.5 / Range 585 . Guess gauge F««««|««««E . UG down 0.8 at 40.5 / DTE489

    Had a little incident today on the Giant 27.5. Damage to the bike : computer sensor came loose , and can not shift above 4th gear , which means pretty low speeds on the 10-12 miles to get home after it happened. Damage to Edwin : some road rash on right arm. He'll live. Bike goes in the shop after work today. On a brighter note , I drove the 19.8 miles from my friend's house to mine Sunday morning at 74.8 MPG.

    53.5 / 5.3 - home Friday. Little too much Zoom at a couple points.
    63.8 / 5.2 - this morning to work. Work is lower elevation than home so it's usually like this.

    Tank +0.2 to 53.9 / 241 mi.
