Hello all, i have a 2006 Honda Accord and I was thinking of adding a hydrogen generator to it. I am seeking opinions onto whether these actually improve fuel economy or if it's negligible. Do these actually work? and would I be better off to make my own or buy one? i would greatly apreciate your opinions on this.
Do you like throwing your money away on pie in the sky, snake oil products? The hydrogen generator scam is as old as the magnets on the fuel line will improve your fuel mileage claims. Sure you'll get better mileage, all because you'll be driving around with a lighter wallet.
The one person I know who did install one and actually do detailed testing (basjoos), found that the power to operate the generator consumed more than it produced. In other words, it was a negative final effect.
