First time poster, but have been reading a lot of good information posted on this forum. I've been working to try and figure out some Scangauge2 codes for a 2012 F150 5.0 V8 and 2009Ford Escape with a 3.0 liter V6.

Both vehicles seem to use the ISO 14229 CAN protocol, so most of the X-gauge commands listed on linear logics page haven't worked. I was able to get the transmission temperature PID figured out based on reviewing posts in this forum. TXD 07E0221E1C, brought up the trans temp in both vechiles. However I haven't been able to get any other X-Gauges to work.

Can anyone help me track down X-Gauge Comments for the following?
    -Fuel Rail Pressure (psi)
    -Converter Torque (Ft-lbs)
    -Converter Speed Ratio
    -Transmission Shaft Speed (RPM)

This forum has some of the best Scanguage info on the web. I greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

    Best Regards,
    Shawn

Those should be easy - but my home computer crashed and the hard drive is unsalvagble - at least for a reasonable price. I'll try to dig up my 2009 stuff the best I can from USB sticks, etc.

In the mean time for fuel rail pressure the mode 0x01 stuff should work:

    TXD: 07E00122
    RXF: 044145220600
    RXD: 2810
    MTH: 0053004B0000
    NAM: Fpr

This is in psi relative to manifold vacuum.

    Carl,

Thanks so much for the help, I'll give that one a try and let you know what I get. I had tried the 07DF0122 PID per the standard SAE pids and had no luck.

I understand the PC issue, I've had a few viruses wipe out my PC. I'm now looking into building an automated backup system now.

    Thanks,
    Shawn

I tried FPR TXD: 07E00122 as wasn't able to get that gauge to work on my 2012 F150 with a 5.0. I'll have to test the escape tonight. I had a typo in my first post, it should have stated 2010 Escape.

Here are the codes I got to work on both vehicles so far:

    Transmission Fluid Temperature
    TXD: 07E0221E1C
    RXF: 0462051E061C
    RXD: 3010
    MTH: 000900500020
    NAM: TFT

    Gear Commanded (state)
    TXD: 07E0221E12
    RXF: 0462051E0612
    RXD: 3008
    MTH: 000100010000
    NAM: GCM

    Slip Across Torque Converter (RPM)
    TXD: 07E0221E14
    RXF: 0462051E0614
    RXD: 3010
    MTH: 000100040000
    NAM: SLP

I also have Ethonal Percent working with TXD:07DF0152, I have the other parameters written down in my notebook at home.

Thanks so much for help in tracking these down.

Wow, it looks like Ford stopped reporting fuel pressure as a PID or DID.

I can only find raw output shaft speed as 1E1B and slip ratio as 1E15.

    I will keep looking.

Thanks Carl, I had a chance to plug in converter slip ratio this morning while waiting for my car pool. That PID seems to work.

I have been looking more online and have also found that Ford may have switched some PIDs and DIDs to Direct Memory Read (DMR) parameters. The DMR parameters are supposed to be quicker to access and have less lag. Thats about as much as I could track down.

Do you happen to know of any PIDs for Cylinder Head Temperature?

I appreciate the help tracking these down.
