Going home, 3UP, back to detour #8, traffic not quite so bad on first half but second half needed a longer detour, 46°F, tail/crosswind SW14. LFL came on during trip @ 497 miles so dropped car pooler and his daughter off at the other end of his dead-end road so I could go straight to gas station and fill up:

A very fine powdery snow was falling , the kind that melted as soon as it hit
the road and windshield. It started to become real snow as I got closer to work.

after 75 min at Planet Fitness , 9 miles , 61.4 MPG.

Not using wunderground for weather any more. It causes problems with my computer.
Weather.com is pretty good. According to them it was -4 deg F in Aurora ( where I live ) and
-1 in Elk Grove Village ( work).
35.2 miles ( smaller tire diameter ? ) , 48.9 MPG. Ouch.
