Today , 47 deg F in Naperville and Wood Dale. No wind. 35.1 miles , 59.27 MPG.
Tank is at 122.2 miles , 62.62 MPG. Had to take highway home last night to
get home quickly and mow the lawn before the rain. But scenic route to PF and home tonight. :)

Another great run home last night. Made it to motorway with a down/up junction trick followed by slow crawl, 64°F, mostly tailwind WNW6:
    54.5 / 21.0

This morning, motorway route then detoured traffic light section, sunny, 55°F, mostly headwind WNW8:
    51.0 / 21.6

    Tank up 0.5 at 49.2 (FCD 51.7) / 336.5 / Range 340 . Guess gauge F___«|««««E . UG up 0.5 at 52.2 / DTE 370

    Lost pip 3 of 8 @ 317 miles

Not so good last night - main route to motorway was at a standstill so needed 2 down/up junction tricks to avoid it to get to detour #2, 65°F, tailwind W8:
    48.3 / 20.5

    Queue, queue, queue!!!

Best ever inbound commute this morning :), motorway route then detoured traffic light section again, sunny, 12°C, headwind W4:
    55.1 / 21.6 - this was almost 70mpgUK on the FCD! :D

    Tank up 0.1 at 49.3 (FCD 51.9) / 378.6 / Range 295 . Guess gauge F___«|««««E . UG up 0.3 at 52.5 / DTE 332

Today , 53 deg F in Naperville , 52 in Wood Dale. Steady wind from the east hurt a bit.
Roads were wet from the night's rain. 35.1 miles , 58.89 MPG.
Tank is at 190.0 miles , 63.38 MPG. I may take scenic route #1 home tonight.
It's a bit longer than scenic route #2 , but more opportunities to glide.

It's definitely a commute of two halves - pretty clear going and traffic aplenty going home!!

Not great again last night - just made it detour #2 but hit a big queue on second half, 63°C, tailwind W8:
    48.4 / 19.2

Beat yesterday's best ever inbound commute this morning managing to see over 70mpgUK ( 71.4mpgUK / 59.5mpgUS :D) on the FCD for the first time going to work. Motorway route then a big queue meant yet another detour of the traffic light section but it allowed for plenty of slow engine off coasting. Sunny, 54°C, headwind W4:
    56.5 / 21.6

    Tank up 0.3 at 59.6 (FCD 52.1) / 419.4 / Range 230 . Guess gauge F____|««««E . UG up 0.4 at 52.9 / DTE 296

    Half tank @ 380 miles

On vacation after today for 16 days .

Today , dry roads ! , 65 deg F in Naperville , 64 in Wood Dale. Although wunderground does not agree ,
there was a strong breeze from WSW that helped me all the way here , especially when heading east.
35.1 miles , 65.20 MPG. Tank is at 257.5 miles , 63.48 MPG. The trip home yesterday was 32.3 miles
( not the shortest route ) and 68.35 MPG.

Enjoy your vacation , Gord !

Andrew , a high 60s trip sounds pretty good !

Today , 64 deg F in Naperville , 59 in Wood Dale. There was very little wind this morning.
Of course, what I call "morning" is the middle of the night for most folks.
    35.1 miles , 63.57 MPG. Tank is at 324.4 miles , 63.86 MPG.

Today , 62 deg F in Naperville , 61 in Wood Dale. Rain , rain , rain , all the way in.
Wind from the east 5-6 MPH. 35.1 miles , 56.40 MPG. Tank is at 578.0 miles ,
two pips remaining , 64.15 MPG.
Heather and Eric moved out yesterday. I'm glad to have the animals out of my house ,
but I worry about them. I don't think they were really ready to buy a house , they have a lot of debt.
Having a $2K mortgage payment makes it difficult to pay off credit card debt. I told them to stick around
another 6-12 months and save money , pay off debts. Did they listen ? :)

It's lonely in here. Instead of preaching to the choir , I'm talking to myself.
Didn't fill up yesterday , I was in the wrong lane as I approached the Amoco in Naperville.
I was in the far left turn lane instead of the right lane. So , I knw I would have to get up
a bit earlier to fill up there in the morning. Couldn't sleep well , so I left the house a lot earlier
    than usual. Filled up for $3.239/gal of E10 87. 615.7 miles/ 9.460 gallons = 65.08 MPG.
fcd = 67.5 x 0.956 = 64.53 MPG. The weather has been cooperating , at least when it's not raining.
Had a number of 70 trips home (non-highway) and that helped.

Today 62 deg F in Naperville , 60 in Wood Dale. No wind. 34.4 miles , 67.97 MPG.
Tank is at 29.1 miles , 71.4 MPG.

Hello , hello. Is this thing on ?

No Civic runs this month, at all.

Been wavering between 8.7 and 8.8mpg this month in my Freigtliner’s native FCD. The number my company used for my bonus is, of course, more pessimistic.

Still, I’d have a only been less than 1mpg behind with stick, owing to some quirks my company had in place for its ECU programming. And for many more reasons I won’t list here.

I think I’d have been closer on MPG had I been given my head, but it wouldn’t equal the computer fot itse logic descending steep grades...

Ahhh, this AMT both sucks and is legitimately better in some ways...I’d love to see a direct comparison in some buff book.
