HaHa, It's not really that bad Bill. It's just the start of winter and it always takes me a little getting used to. I just don't like the cold or snow. After it really gets cold, this weather will seem pretty mild. Snow should be done soon, that will help. Roads were worse today.
How are you wanting to build your grill block? I've used both coroplast and arborite and had pretty good success.

Coroplast looks like it may fit the bill. I'll probably just cut it to the shape of the entire lower grill opening and zip tie it in place. It should be enough to hold for a season. I'll have to check Walmart down the street or the local office supply to see if they have a piece long enough.

    Thanks, Kevin.

Edit: As a lower cost option, I may just find some old and unusable signs my wife has and cobble something, at least to try out. I suspect a single long strip will be costly (part of a large rectangle), but a couple of smaller lengths can still fill the opening.

If you do it in three pieces, not only cheaper, it will be easy to remove the center section in warmer weather if the full block is too much. I paint my coroplast blocks with rocker guard, improves the appearance IMO, especially if it is old signage.

    jcp123 Caliente!

That'd be my inclination too. I like anything which gives me flexibility in its use.

No bike ride, Gord ? I'm starting to use the stationary bike again at my health club in addition to all the other stuff I do there.

Depending on where I move , which will happen in Dec sometime , I may set up one of my bikes for all-season commuting.

But I still like the trails the best.

Hi Edwin, various activities over the week! Don’t want to let you down ;)

Nov 1: 5.1 mile walk + 8.3 mile trail ride with middle daughter
    Nov 2: 64.1 mile ride
Nov 3: 5.8 mile trail ride + 3.1 mile run on treadmill
Nov 5: 3.9 mile walk with youngest on her bike

I have one of my old bikes set up in our summer house on a turbo trainer. I have an old laptop in front of it on a shelf with some software/video on it of the Dordogne Valley in France and I adjust the resistance to suit the indicated terrain!
