Hello, Its been a while since I posted here. I used to drive a 2007 HCH which was a good daily driver, yielding 52-62 mpg tanks depending on the weather in the Midwest US. I purchased a 2015 Sonata Eco in February, in part due to the strong reviews/trip reports posted here. I have put on over 5k miles since then and my daily (75 mile RT) commute has come up from ~37mpg to ~45mpg as things have warmed up. I have not altered the car in any way, tires at 38 psi and I simply drive the 55-65 mph speed limits and minimize the stoplights I could hit. The 7 speed DCT is interesting - its like an ultra quick shift robo MT. It will pull at ~1350 rpms in 5th-7th at 28, 38 and 48 mph respectively. So far, its a surprisingly efficient full size sedan. Let me know if you have any questions.
