    Hi Bill:

The average speeds including all the stops for the drive are posted all over the place including the final story. It was 62.4 mph for the A6, 62.1 mph for the A7 and 61.9 for the Q5 TDI IIRC. If not including the stops but only the 3 mountain climbs, the traffic slowdowns and city speed limits, it was 65.4 mph for the A6 TDI, 65.1 mph for the A7 TDI and 64.9 mph for the Q7 TDI.

    I wish it was a Q7, but we were in a Q5... ;)

    Hi Nathan:

No Scangauges... Audi wanted the cars as stock as any new car a customer could buy off the lot! They would not even allow an alignment (lots of toe from the factory) or even fresh oil change.

These cars were truly stock which makes their FE that much more extraordinary!

    Edwin's contribution = maybe 5%
    Wayne's " " " = a lot more

TheCoolKids were a considerably cooler, I mean LIGHTER , payload.

It would have been interesting to see what the actual weight difference was between each vehicle, sans the vehicle. I know that the Q5 had the most "Cargo", but I still wonder what the difference was between the A6 and A7. Of course, you did have a handicap in the A6 with a Road & Track reporter ;) .

    Hi John:

I closed my eyes for just 2.3 seconds and Christian darn near broke triple digits!

Afterwards I knew why he kept insisting I get some sleep. It most certainly was not because of a safety concern either :D

    Hi All:

Check your e-mail for the Shell hi res photo request. I sent my own proofs and the hi res shots that she requested.

Mike Sefton sent in a proof that she liked and he is in the process of sending her the hi res of that same pic.

I sent in a few. And one new one you haven't seen yet.

@CmaxVsPrius: At mid night during #TruthIn48 passing north of Roswell, I took this picture of the @Audi A7 I was inside of. http://t.co/SOIwaVVBR9

I didn't see any email from Shell, but nearly all my photos are uploaded to my Facebook, and are public, If there's any that they want the original to, let me know and I can make that available.

    Hi Jay:

I missed placing you in the CC within this morning’s e-mail. Check your e-mail now.

I need a low res proof of your best and cannot fish through your FB posts to find them. If you see something that you liked, send it to me and Pam at Shell. If she likes it, find the original high res and send that to her.

Pam really liked 3 of Mike's hi res shots now in her inbox.

    TIA

All the pics were on my phone, and I don't have multiple resolutions. I just sent a handful of the best that I had, full resolution straight from my phone.

    Hi All:

Chicago to NY on a single tank of fuel? I do not think that would be much of a problem given our recent experiences ;)
