    Prices start at $41,000.

The seven-passenger Ford Explorer arrives with a 3.5-liter V-6 that creates 290 horsepower and gets 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. It features the a number of new systems such as the Terrain Management System, which allows a driver to select the surface the Explorer is on and a computer adjusts the throttle input and wheel spin. The Curve Control system that monitors the Explorer's position, speed and angle of the front wheels to help it drive through curves safely.
