2010 mazda 3

    i test drove a 2010 mazda 3i touring with auto transmission! i loved the car,but what kind of gas mileage numbers can i expect at 60 mph of interstate driving? yall all chime in it may make the difference of buying this car or another! thanks troy p.s. it has the 2.0 4 cylinder engine

    Well it is rated at 33 mpg highway so I'd say safely 36-39 mpg at sixty mph.

    There are a lot of factors, A/C, terrain, tire pressure, weather, straight or E10 fuel to name a few. You may pull better than forty with some basic hypermiling techniques but I'm going by setting the cruise control at sixty with no A/C and enjoying the ride. BTW numbers will be close to EPA (33 mpg) until it starts to get broken in.

    I checked over on a Mazda 3 site and they all seem to be getting around 35-37 mpg on the highway with the 2010 2.0 L's in the 60-70 mph range.
